Tiny House Trailer Family
We built many tiny house trailers and pieced together the ideal standard designs. We learned how to fuse strength, light-weight, and user practicality into well-balanced packages. For the budget conscious, there is the standard deck model. Want to avoid the troubles of W.O.F assessments? Then consider the innovative detachable deck tiny house trailer model.
Standard Deck Tiny House Trailers
Our standard deck tiny house trailer was born from a combination of custom tiny house trailer designs during the early phase of tiny living in NZ, becoming the original tiny house trailer in the South Island. Refined over the years, our latest models offer proven rigidity, lightweight, and great value for budget-conscious builders. Crucial weight is saved through pre-galvanised steel construction; weight better spent on the house. Albeit limited by NZTA to 2.4m wide, all models are designed for 3500kg (GLW), allowing heavier materials such as hardwood to be used. Low-profile versions are also available, offering 460mm deck-heights instead of the standard 600mm.

Special Note
At Superior Trailers, we manufacture all of our standard tiny house trailers from pre-galvanized steel for three main reasons:
- Increased cost when hot-dip galvanizing – The width of a tiny house trailer requires it to be dipped twice, once on each side, on condition that the trailer can fit length-wise in the galvanizing pool.
- Tiny house trailers are generally too long for hot-dip galvanizing.
- No control over the trailer weight increase when hot-dip galvanizing.
If hot-dip galvanizing is still desired, bespoke tiny house trailer designs are available which can be disassembled into sections for galvanizing purposes. Please contact us for further information.
